THE NORTH
Below, we're introducing character and environment sketches for Pangaia--Burning Mercury Studio's upcoming fable/graphic novella. Here is the NORTH, the first of 5 "world building" conceptual environments, depicting a frigid, hazardous environment and its warrior-like inhabitants. Created by artist Jose Gomez, these concept drawings give a glimpse of the grand, sweeping nature of the story. 

THE EAST

Here is the next of the 5 lands for Pangaia--the EAST. The concept sketches by artist Jose Gomez depict a port town nestled on the coast. The inhabitants rely upon fishing vessels for food and transportation.

THE SOUTH

Artist Jose Gomez's conceptual rendition of the SOUTH--a lush nation full of jungles and people who are one with nature.

THE WEST

Below, is an early conceptual drawing of the WEST--a land filled with rocky terrain and majestic cliffs. The inhabitants are an industrious bunch, always inventing new ways to navigate their treacherous surroundings.

THE MIDDLE

Below is the fifth and final world--the MIDDLE--from conceptual artist Jose Gomez from the upcoming story, Pangaia. Surrounded on all sides by 4 nations with distinctly different geographies and cultures, the people of the middle land are a peaceful, farming nation, who proudly tend to their swaying golden fields.
